Announcing the Moderncat Studio Cat Charity Donation Program

We are pleased to announce the Moderncat Studio Cat Charity Donation Program. Each month, a different cat-related charity will be chosen to receive 5% of the gross sales from Moderncat Studio. We decided to donate 5% of the total sale instead of 5% of “profits” so that you would know exactly how much of your purchase is going to help the cats. It is very important for us to give back to the cats as part what we do at Moderncat Studio.

For the month of September, the charity will be Mildcats at ASU, a group that works to rescue and care for the feral and stray cats on the campuses of Arizona State University. This group is near and dear to my heart because they are the organization that first taught me about trap-neuter-return, the humane way to care for feral cats. We are please to be supporting the good work that they do.

Future recipients will be posted on the Cat Charity Donation Program page.

New Products Make Debut at Modern Phoenix Expo

Last weekend we debuted a new line of products at the Modern Phoenix Expo, held at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the booth. It was so exciting to get everyone’s reaction to the new line!

These products were designed in partnership with the team at Juggernaut Design. The line includes several innovative scratchers, cat toy storage, and some elegant mod two-story beds. Stay tuned for all the details. We’ll be adding the new items to the Moderncat Studio Etsy shop in the coming weeks.
